What does this slit line from ZMM Pobeda do?
With slitting, one makes only straight cuts. In this continuous process, the sheet to be slitted passes between two circular blades – the lower and upper blades. The knives are mounted on rotating shafts. Because the knives are circular, they are automatically at an angle to the sheet material to be slit.
The separation process of slitting is carried out at very high cutting speeds (up to 200 m/min = 3.34 m/s). One applies this process mainly in large-scale production.
