General features of the THALMANN TZ single bending machine

The innovative long-stroke THALMANN TZ single bender combines the best elements of centuries of Swiss technical expertise and is distinguished by numerous innovations.

The pioneering Vertical Force Drive (VFD) design principle delivers unmatched performance. The rigid C-frame machine stands and vertical tool alignment generate tremendous vertical clamping force for hemming.

With its unique Control Shaft Technology, the TZ distributes the output of all machine standards evenly across the clamping and folding bars, providing both technical ingenuity and real added value. The newly designed clamping bars and offset folding bar create additional clearance and flexibility.

Thanks to state-of-the-art drive technology and the STOP & GO function, the TZ delivers noticeably higher energy efficiency and significantly faster bending dynamics. The Dynamic Crowning system, with its smooth-running servo control, impressively compensates for edge pressure effects and guarantees torsion-free profiles.

The advanced Longitudinal Slitter concept functions independently of the folding beam, eliminating disturbing influences during the folding process.

The maximum insertion depth of the THALMANN TZ is 1250 mm and the machines can have a length from 3.20 to 12.00 meters. Additional accessories such as hemming, roll forming or cutting units can be added to the machines.
