The THALMANN TZ single bender is a clean and neat welded construction, sandblasted, primed and finished with two-component enamel in the colours silver and yellow. The heavy, stable base of the machine has a built-in levelling device. A very energy-efficient whisper-quiet hydraulic system with STOP-and-GO function is installed to control the machine.

The innovative THALMANN TZ single-beam bender combines the best elements of centuries of Swiss engineering expertise and distinguishes itself through numerous innovations.

Groundbreaking VFD (Vertical Force Drive) design principles deliver unparalleled performance. The rigid C-frame machine stands and the vertical alignment of the tools generate enormous vertical clamping force for seams.

With its unique Control Shaft Technology, the TZ evenly distributes the output of all machine stands across the clamping and folding beams, offering both technical ingenuity and genuine added value. The newly designed clamping beams and offset folding beam create additional clearance and flexibility.

Thanks to state-of-the-art Control Shaft Technology and the STOP & GO function, the TZ delivers noticeably higher energy efficiency and significantly faster bending dynamics. The Dynamic Crowning system, with its smooth-running servo control, impressively compensates for edge pressure effects and guarantees torsion-free profiles.

The advanced Longitudinal Slitter concept functions independently of the folding bar, thus eliminating disruptive influences during the folding process.
