What is a coil solution?

A coil solution is a machine or line setup that allows you to produce directly from a coiled coil (steel, aluminum, zinc, etc.). The coil is automatically unwound, aligned (flattened), cut to size and, if necessary, fed to a subsequent operation, such as setting or profiling.

A coil solution usually consists of:

  • An uncoiler/decoiler
  • An aiming unit to level the material
